Release) – Jan 23, 2009 – The Southeast Senior Center for
Independent Living (SESCIL), located at 228 Grand Avenue, Englewood, NJ, has
a multifaceted and humane approach to providing seniors with programs that
are in sync with their needs. With the beginning of the New Year, SESCIL
draws attention to the public of its first-rate dentistry team of
professionals.
Thus, in addition to exercise, music, language, weight loss and recreational
programs, SESCIL offers its members low-fee dentistry at a rate
approximately 50% lower than they would pay at private facilities. X-rays,
teeth cleaning, simple extractions, root canals, crown and fixed bridges,
plus full and partial dentures are provided at the Center by SESCIL's
licensed dentist and hygienists.
Patrice, a doctoral graduate of NYU Dental School, has been in
practice for thirty years and at the Center for twelve years. She said that
she always preferred to work on a part-time basis, because this enabled her
to spend more time raising her four children, who are now all grown. The
good doctor is beloved by her patients at SESCIL, not only because of her
dental skills, but also for her gentle, kind and solicitous manner.
Regina, one of the hygienists, has been a presence at SESCIL since
1987. Many of its members consider her thorough cleaning to be the best
they ever had. Regina works at SESCIL part-time, dividing her time at two
other dental offices. When not working, Regina is an ardent dog lover,
working as a rescuer at dog pounds, visiting nursing homes to help the
elderly and also finding time for her bowling league.
Virginia is the newest addition to SESCIL's dental team, working
there as a dental hygienist for a little over a year. She is the mother of
three young children. Virginia has twenty years of experience not only as a
general dental hygienist, but - having worked for periodontists,
orthodontists and other specialists - she is widely skilled.
